The Department of Management under the flagship of GITM Innovation Cell organized a Field Visit on 7th July 2022 to Amul Banas Dairy Plant for MBA Ist Year Students. Batch of 48 students along with their coordinator Mr. Shadab Siddqui and Miss. Vidushi visited the location. Human Resource Manager “Mr. Jitendra Shukla” at Amul Dairy Plant made students visit the whole plant where processes like pasteurization, freezing, storing, packaging and distribution was going on. The main objective of Field Visit is to provide students an insight regarding interaction with stakeholder, problem identification and internal working of Industries and for learning various practical approaches of Entrepreneurship Management and production processes. Students were shown presentations on the establishment, history of White Revolution, Mr. Verghese Kurein and his billion-litre idea and product lines and different variants offered in each product line by the company. The visit acquainted the students with the production and marketing process of Milk in the factory. T&P Head Dy.
