About the Department

The Electronics and Communication engineering department has established in the year 2008 with the sole aim of providing the most energetic, enthusiastic and professionally competent electronic engineers with the ability to take up the challenges posed to them.

The department has established Basic Electronics lab, Communication lab, PCB & Electronic workshop, Digital Electronics Lab, Microprocessor and microcontroller lab, Microwave and Optical Communication Lab etc. All laboratories are well equipped with all modern electronics testing, measuring instruments and software as per the course requirement. The laboratories are supported by desired software MATLAB, MULTI SIM, ORCAD etc. with a high-speed internet facility. The department emphasizes the development of hands-on skills of the students to complement their theoretical knowledge in the fields of communication engineering, VLSI design, Digital signal processing and Embedded systems. For this, the department organizes periodically interactive lectures, seminars, training programs and workshops by inviting educationalists and technocrats from industries to train students with the latest technologies apart from the prescribed curriculum.

The well-equipped library, spacious classrooms with overhead projectors, auditorium and Conference hall are used by the students to cater for the need for a smart and effective teaching-learning process. The department has online excess of national and international journals via Wiley online library for students and faculties. Our students will get benefit from virtual labs as well as e-learning and online certified courses by IITs, NPTEL, SWAYAM etc. The department has been organizing various curricular and extracurricular activities. As such programs are volunteered by our students under the guidance of energetic faculty members; it’s useful for the personality development of our students.

The department has produced a large number of highly accomplished alumni since its inception, who are serving across the globe as professionals in reputed companies, pursuing higher education and contributing to research and development. The department continues the tradition of transforming fresh young students into successful professionals.
