About the Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was set up in the year 2008 with an undergrad Engineering program in Mechanical Engineering. Since its commencement, the Department has ceaselessly developed and taken drives to bestow quality instruction and teach research fitness in Mechanical Engineering understudies. In the previous six years, the office has seen a great deal of improvement in scholastics to upgrade information, abilities and perspectives in understudies. This was feasible because of persevering educating and non-showing personnel and the help from the liberal administration. Our framework has been cutting edge. The understudies are prepped with multi-dimensional ranges of abilities covering every one of the necessary alumni ascribes. Our attention is on reasonable learning, activities, and exploration. Understudies are given adequate openness to industry and urged to take up projects toward this path.

HOD Message

Ever since the establishment of the institution (in 2008), our primary goal for our students is to train future leaders with high-quality engineering education. The aim of the department of Mechanical Engineering is to disseminate knowledge and technologies through quality teaching, research and its applications in mechanical and allied disciplines. Along with this an in-house “Centre of excellence” is established in collaboration with “Royal Enfield” to give practical exposure to our students.

We offer disciplines such as M. Tech. (Mechanical Engineering), B. Tech. and Diploma (Production). Our students have proved their mettle by getting placed in reputed industries of India and abroad. We as a family of Mechanical Engineering strive to excel in all the fields whether it is technical or sports activities, which shows the hunger for knowledge and overall development of students as a whole.

The Department has state of the art laboratories besides knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated faculties and staff. The students are inculcated with fundamental and technical knowledge to enable them to translate the theoretical knowledge into practical applications. Conferences, workshops and seminars are organized periodically which helps both the staff and students to updates themselves with industries latest happenings. The Department has also proved its potential by guiding students in projects sponsored by the Institution of engineering.
