In order to ensure transparency by Technical Institutions imparting technical education, in admissions and with Paramount Objectives of preventing unfair practices and providing a mechanism to faculty, staff members &students for redressal of their grievances, AICTE has notified regulation for the establishment of a mechanism for Grievances redressal Committee for all the AICTE approved technical Institutions vide No. 37-3/Legal/2012 dated 25.05.2012. Based on the above guidelines a Grievances Redressal Committee is formed in the institute with the following committee members for the session 2022-23

 Based on the grievance, the committee conducts a thorough investigation by interaction with involved persons and fact-finding and then the committee summarizes the fact and findings based on the investigation, the committee recommends further action.

 

Functions

 

(i) Uphold the dignity of the college by ensuring strife free atmosphere through promoting cordial student-student relationships, student-faculty /staff relationships & faculty/staff-faculty/staff relationships.

 

(ii) Resolve the grievance received by any student, faculty and staff and take action accordingly.

(iii) Encourage the students, faculty & staff to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.

(iv) Advise students, faculty and staff of the institute to respect the right and dignity of peers and show utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.

(v) Advise all members to refrain from, inciting students against other students, faculty and institute administration.

(vi) Advising the staff not to behave in a vindictive manner towards the students for any reason.

 

Frequency of Meeting:

The Grievance Redressal Committee conducts meetings as per the requirement of the institute.

 

Attendance at the meeting:

Around 80 to 90 Percent of committee members are always present in the meeting
