In continuation of the celebration of ” National Energy Conservation Day ” GITM innovation cell in association with Training & Placement and Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized a Workshop on “Energy Efficiency & Conservation- Electric Vehicle” on December 15, 2022. The main objective of the workshop was to acquaint the students about energy efficiency, conservation and E- mobility and key aspects of Electric vehicles. The workshop started with the valuable words of Dr. Rishi Asthana (Director GITM) .The eminent speaker Mr. Alok Mishra( Zonal Head UP&UK, EESL) talked about energy deficit , COP26, and different Government schemes and policies of Center and State, related to EVs. The workshop was concluded by vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Shiv Kumar Tripathi (HoD -ME). The guest speaker was honored by Mr. Amit Anand Agarwal (Deputy director, T&P). The program was exclusively for the students of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Total 120 students along with the faculties participated in the session.
