On 17th November, 2022 Department of Civil Engineering and GITM Innovation cell organized “Tech Fest”, in which Four different activities in each round have been performed. This Tech Fest aimed at giving the vital information and Technical awareness to Students in each Field related to creativity, Technical knowledge and also aware the students about how one can Innovate new idea by applying few resources.
This Tech Fest was categorized in Four rounds.
Round 1 ( Quiz Competition) Quizzes encourage student’s self awareness of progress and self assessment. By taking quizzes, student’s get instant feedback on their responses.
Round 2 (Poster Presentation) The objective behind this activity of poster making competition is to bring out the creative expression of students and to gauge their knowledge and awareness of various trends in Commerce & Management.
Round 3 ( Bridge Design Competition) The aim of this round is to increase the Technical ability and to apply technical knowledge by designing the Bridge which gave maximum stability and Strength and hopefully peak their interest in pursuing Civil Engineering as a career.
Round 4 ( Debate Competition) Debate Competition for students is very influential as it helps them to boost their confidence, remove the fear of speaking in public, develop critical thinking, how to think and communicate under pressure There are 100 students of civil Engineering participated this event . Dr. Rishi Asthana , Director (GITM) & IIC President, gave some motivational word to the Students and warm wishes to him. After that Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, HoD, Department of Civil Engineering concluded this Tech Fest by congratulate students for successful completion of this Event , and also gave certificate to the winners. Finally Civil Department Organizes Photo Session , in which all the students have taken group photograph with HoD and Faculty members of Civil Engineering Department.
