Intracollege competition on Stock Market
Department of Management club “Udaan”, GITM in association with Innovation Cell and Training & Placement organized a Intra College Competition “Bullrisers”, on 4th December 2024 on the topic: How to Strategize & Succeed in the Stock Market. The Resource Person for the event was Mr. Ankit Mehta, Chief Strategic Officer at Fintopedia. Dr. Jyoti Agarwal, Head of the Department of Management welcomed him and told students how important it is to have the knowledge about Stock Market. Mr. Ankit Mehta started his session with some important facts about Finance and the Stock Market and a few interesting case studies. His approach was very simple. Each and every student was able to connect with him. The examples quoted by him were from the real world which not only made the session interesting but also very informative and useful for the students. He also played an online competition based on questions related to the Stock Market where three students from MBA First Year: Anshika Singh, Kstan Singh and Satya Prakash Singh grabbed the First, Second, and Third Position. There were more than 100 students, faculties, and staff who witnessed the event.
