A workshop was organized by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering titled “ Innovative Technologies in Robotics- For Beginners” under the flagship of Innovation Cell-GITM on 19th November, 2022 in offline mode. This robotics based workshop provided a platform for students of Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering, to aware about next best technology via Hands-on-sessions. The event was coordinated by Mr. Deepak Kumar, Assistant Professor, EE Dept. The designing of wired robots with construction of new prototypes of robots has been discussed in detail by resource person of this event Mr. Himanshu Srivastava, Member IIC-GITM. This was the must do workshop for young designers, entrepreneurs, start-up founders and inventors.
In the second phase of the session, overview of wireless and autonomous robots was elaborated by explaining the integration of external sensors and actuators in the designing of robots. The Director- GITM, Dr. Rishi Asthana Sir motivated students to apply their technical skills in their projects efficiently and participate/organize RoboWar events in future. The students had shown their keen interest during the workshop by querying their doubts.
