The Department of Biotechnology under the flagship of GITM Innovation Cell & Training and Placement Cell organized a Field Visit on 8th Oct 2022 to Amul Banas Dairy Plant for B.Tech Biotech 2nd year and 3rd year Students. Batch of 40 students along with their coordinator Mr Ahsan Masood and Ms. Surya Mishra visited the location to interact with different stakeholders,identify their problems and how the problems are solved. Human Resource Manager “Mr. Jitesh Upadhyay” at Amul Dairy Plant made students visit the whole plant where processes like pasteurization, freezing, storing, packaging and distribution were going on. The main objective of this visit was to show the working of the food industry as it is an important part of Biotechnology. T&P Head Dy.
