On March 29, 2023, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with GITM Innovation Cell organized a workshop on “Python Programming” under Softpro Center of Excellence on Internet Of Things x.0 for the 3rd-year B.Tech CSE students. The workshop aimed to promote awareness and skills among the students about Python programming and its application. The session was conducted by Rohit Kumar, the Chief Technical in Softpro India Technologies Pvt. Around 98 students and faculty members attended the session.The workshop resource person started with an introduction to Python, its features, and applications. The students learned about Python data types, operators, control structures, functions, data structures, modules, and packages. The resource person efficiently answered the queries raised by the students during the session. The participants were able to successfully code and run their programs, and the session proved to be very interactive and informative for the students. At the end of the workshop, Ms. Samiksha Singh, the Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and also Ambassador of Innovation Cell GITM, gave a Thank you note to the guest of honor Rohit Kumar.
