GITM Innovation Cell, Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a Seminar on *INNOVATION OUTLOOK: SUSTAINABLE ELECTRIC VEHICLE REVOLUTION* on 23rd September 2022 exclusively for the Students of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (Degree & Diploma both).
The session was taken by eminent speaker Mr. Shesh Kumar Patel (winner of EVs innovation challenge 2021 at Gujarat), an innovator, a mechanical engineer and CEO of a startup. He had also successfully developed a motor controller for PMDC motors and an electric vehicle.
In current scenario the Electric vehicles (EVs) is a promising sector for achieving a sustainable transport sector, due to very low carbon emissions, low noise, high efficiency, and flexibility in grid operation and integration.
The session was very interactive and queries were successfully answered by the speaker.
In this event Dr. Priyanka Jaiswal ( Convener IIC-GITM) , Dr. Shailendra Shukla (Vice Principal diploma), and Mr. Shiv Kumar Tripathi (HoD-ME) along with the faculties and students of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department have attended the session and know the technical aspect to design and development, scope and advances in current EVs.
