The Department of Electrical and Electronics engineering, Goel Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow has participated IEEE online seminar on the topic, “ Fast EV chargers using Three Phase LLC converters” on 15th June, 2020.
The talk was delivered by Dr. Martin Ordonez, Professor and Canada Research Chair at University of British Columbia ( UBC), Canada and Mr. Abbas Arshadi, Ph.D candidate, University of British Columbia ( UBC), Canada in association with IEEE Power Electronics Society.
This talk explored requirements for fast EV battery chargers (Voltage regulation, current balancing etc.) and proposed tentative solution to overcome them.
