The Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities GITM organized the Motivational Talk under Student Induction Program (SIP) on “Career is Possibility, Not by Chance” by Mr. D. K. Verma (Motivation Guru) on dated November 21-22, 2022. Mr. D.K Verma is a renowned motivational speaker and counselor in many Indian Administrative and State Administrative services. He has organized so many workshops and seminars. He has done many counseling sessions for many students of medical as well as engineering. We at GITM felt lucky that Sir D. K. Verma had given his consent to deliver motivational lecture to our students for Two days especially for newly admitted students for the session 2022-23. On 21st Nov.22, approx 130 students of Computer Science Engineering from first year were present in the lecture, and on 22nd Nov 2022, Aprox 400 students of B. Tech. and Diploma first year students were present in the Auditorium. It was a great lecture because the students were engrossed in the lecture fully. The lecture was beneficial for the students because they learnt many new concepts of how to get involved in the industries. He removed their nervousness by asking questions from almost all the students. He had given chance to them to excel in their own language and prove their capabilities. He had motivated students by giving gifts on every answer and also by correcting their answers. He simply motivated them to speak and explore their talent. He concluded his speech with many motivational quotes related with life. It was a great session for the students. The program was coordinated by Dr. Atul Kumar (HoD-ASH), Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Manju Singh and Mr. Dheeraj Shukla. The session was concluded by giving a vote of thanks and memento to the guest by the Director-GITM.
