To explore and identify common avenues of interaction with industry per the institution’s requirements and to maintain industry- Academia Relationships a Career Guidance Cell has been constituted with the following members for the session 2022-23.
The function of the Career GUidance Cell:
(i) To identify and facilitate Guest Lectures, Interactive Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, Brain Storming Sessions, Technical Discussions etc. with members of the Industry, outside experts, and eminent personalities at regular intervals.
(ii) To conduct Industrial Training and Industrial Visits for faculty and students at regular intervals.
(iii) To facilitate joint research work, and consultancy involving faculty and students.
(iv) To facilitate professionals from industry as visiting faculty in institutions and short or long periods deployment of faculty from institutions to industry for gaining industrial experience and work on projects in the industry.
(v) To seek and associate experts from the industry in curriculum development and review.
(vi) To identify continuing education opportunities, short-term programmes and training needs of the industry, which the institution can provide.
(vii) To promote revenue-generating activities for the institution like Lab Testing, Calibration, Consultancy and R&D etc.
(viii) To periodically assess the scientific and technological scenario/ happenings in India and abroad to translate them into action for future R&D work.
