Department of Management in Association with Training and Placement under the flagship of GITM Innovation Cell organized an Industrial Visit on 26th November 2021 to METRO Wholesale Cash and Carry at BBD Green City, Lucknow for MBA II Year Students. Batch of 22 students along with their coordinator Mr. Sharad Chandra visited the location. Training Manager Mr. Writendra Chaterjee and Mr. Ashwani Kumar at Metro made students visited around 18 different departments. They told students about the processes involved, material (International Quality, HACCP) and machinery (Forklift, Bot) used for the smooth functioning at Metro.
It was a wonderful learning experience for our students as they were able to contact company delegates. Trainer gave them insight knowledge about the working at Metro. These types of industrial visits help students to get more exposure to the outer world and get more of practical knowledge.
