The GITM Innovation Cell organized Field Visit “Technology and Innovation in Energy and Electricity ( Harnessing Frontier Technologies for Sustainable Development)” , at Rosa Thermal Power Plant, Shanjahanpur, U.P in association with Training and Placement Cell-GITM for the students of Department of Electrical Engineering and Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 12th October, 2022. The objective of this visit is to make students explored about Thermal Power Plant and its working, different units of electricity generation, current scenarios of latest demanding technologies for generating power and techniques of saving electricity.
The visit was highly useful for the students in terms of practical knowledge about the thermal power generation and to find problems and innovations in such industries.
