Goel Institute of Technology & Management, Lucknow, GITM Along with Department of Computer science and Engineering, CompuNerds Club and Training & Placement organized Field visit for B.Tech (CSE/IT) 3rd year students to HCL TSS Pvt. Ltd ,HCL IT City, Gate No 1, SDG 01, Chak Gajaria Farms, Sultanpur Road,Lucknow on 21 March 2023.

Around 95 students and Faculty members attended the session.
The Main objective of industrial visit was to bridge the gap between classroom teaching and practical working environment and to bring in some positive intangible changes to the personalities of students which results from long distance group travel and industrial visit.
The visit was a part of their industrial visit program which was arranged by college as a part of the Industrial Exposure Program. The students were welcomed by Mr. Saurabh Singh and Mr. Samar Bhalla.
Mr. Saurabh Singh gave a brief introduction about HCL Tech. He narrated briefly how HCL Tech was born and today where it stands in the industry. He gave information about HCL Tech governing body right from Chief Executive Officer till Chairman. HCL Tech is a MNC spread across 60 countries, and over 230,000 of the world’s best-trained IT consultants. He explained about values of HCL Tech like Leading change, Integrity, respect for Individual, Excellence, Learning and Sharing. He also told about the recruitment system of HCL Tech and their expectations from the candidates whom they wanted to recruit. He also explained about sectors in which HCL Tech is providing expertise in Digital, Engineering and Cloud, and it delivers solutions that fulfill the traditional, transformational and future needs of clients across the globe. He also explained how HCL Tech has made itself in all walks of service providing and consultancy and delivering industry-leading capabilities to clients across all major verticals including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Technology and Services, Telecom and Media, Retail and CPG, Life Sciences and Healthcare and Public Services.
Industrial visit to HCL was a huge success which was full of knowledge. Students got to know the working methodology of a MNC company, got to know how the people are working. Students got industrial exposure on this visit.. All agreed that such visits must be organized more frequently in future.
