The Examination Committee of the college is in the responsibility of smooth conduct of sessional examinations for all the courses and the maintenance of students’ records.
The purpose of Examination Committees is: on behalf of the Academic Council – to assess students in accordance with the regulations applying to the programme/s under consideration and make recommendations for awarding sessional which is submitted to the University. The following members of the Examination Committee are responsible for all examination/sessional-related tasks for the Session-2023-24
Functions of Examination Committee:
(i) Prepares relevant schedule of the Institute Sessional Examination based on the Academic calendar.
(ii) Prepares and display an overall Supervision Duty List for the conduction of Sessional and University Examination
(iii) The Exam Committee shall hold a pre-exam meeting to brief the members of faculty with regard to the Examination procedures and the role and responsibilities of A report of same shall be submitted to the Director of the Institute
(iv) Committee collects list of examiners for assessment and moderation of each subject from respective HODs.
(v) Ensures that the evaluation and moderation process of sessional examination is completed on time
(vi) Prepares smooth conduct of Examinations, time – table schedules, Invigilation duty chart, Seat allotment in the Examination halls etc.
(vii) Ensures that the entire exam related documents reach the university in time.
(viii) Prepares results of sessional examination and submit mark list to respective HODs.
(ix) Processes all Circulars, Guidelines, Office Orders, Notifications received by the University
Frequency of Meeting:
The Examination Committeeconducts meeting monthly, and schedule additional meetings as per the requirement of institute.
Attendance in the meeting:
Around 80 to 90 Percent of committee members are always present in the meeting
