The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Goel Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow has participated online webinar on the topic,” Covid-19: Impact on Solar Power industry” on 27th April, 2020. The talk was delivered by Mr. Upendra Tripathy, Director General, International Solar Alliance (ISA) and Ms. Kristina Skierka, CEO, Power for all Campaign.
This talk explored the key points necessary to build up by government of spectacular growth of solar energy that become disrupted due to Covid-19. The fireside chat between speakers gave valuable information to the students and faculties in tackling these challenges and determining the pace of deployment of solar energy in the near future.
