The GITM Innovation cell & TECHNOVATORS & COMPUNERDS participated in two day workshop on “Boing National Aeromodelling – a part of Boing National Aeromodelling Festival (North Zone)” organized by IIT Kanpur, on January 5-6, 2K23.
The event provided a one of a kind opportunity to the students to work on real life challenges, develop new ideas, manage a full scale engineering project and manufacture it as per their design. Every year Boeing National Aeromodelling Festival comprises workshop and zonal competition among all 4 zones of India. The purpose of the workshop is to give an exposure of aeromodelling to students from various streams & backgrounds.
The students were very keen to attend the workshop through which they can get a chance for national level Boing aeromodelling competition.
Total 3 teams of 13 students from Mechanical & Computer Science and Engineering under the mentorship of Mr. Shiv Kumar Tripathi (HoD-ME), participated and got certificate from IIT Kanpur.
Dr. Rishi Asthana (Director, GITM) along with Dr. Brijesh Pandey (HOD-CSE) blessed and motivated students for their upcoming competitions
