Electronics & Communication Engineering
In the year 2008, the Electronics and Communication Engineering Course was started for the benefit of students who were keen on knowing subjects from traditional to modern aspects of Electronics. The B.Tech/M.Tech programme emphasizes the basics and advanced core topics of Electronics, Computers, Communication Engineering and Instrumentation. The department has highly qualified, motivated and experienced faculties having research publications in reputed International/National Journals and conferences. The department has spacious classrooms and laboratories such as Analog Electronics Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Microprocessor/Microcontroller Lab, Communication and Microwave Engineering Lab, VLSI Design/simulation Lab supported by Proteus, MATLAB, Keil software tools, which are well equipped for student’s technical pursuit. Faculty members are being constantly encouraged themselves through various FDP’s, workshops, publications and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) exams.
Events
- The faculty Development Programme for EC and EE faculties, was organized by the GITM on 22nd February, 2020 on the Topic,” Digital Trends and Technologies” and “ Microservices and its usage in IT industry” through Tata Concultancy Services.
- A workshop was organized by Placement Cell of GITM on 2nd March, 2020 for EC and EE students on the topic “PLC and Scada” through Sofcon Training.
Lab Facilities
