Transportation

Students keep themselves fit by playing games like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis etc. Well Equipped Gymnasium is also available in the campus. 24 X 7 power backup and Wi-Fi internet connectivity supplements the hostel life. The whole campus is under CCTV surveillance and active team of Security Staff Hostel and Mess charges include daily three meals, Wi-Fi internet, 24 X 7 power backup, Gymnasium and other hostel amenities.

SEMINAR ROOM

GOEL GROUP has nicely designed 2 seminar halls & Conference rooms which are fully Air- Conditioned. These are Equipped with modern latest audio-video technological facilities which give our young generation a glimpse of the professional world. Large assembly’s functions, extension lectures, rehearsals and presentations of various curricular activities are organized. AUDITORIUM – “GOELPLEX” The newly built auditorium of our Institute is fitted with high-quality modern furniture, latest equipment like PA system, multimedia LCD, Wi-Fi Internet facility, Audio-Visual aids etc.

PLAYGROUND

Along with wide variety of sports & cultural/ intellectual activities contributing to Goel Institutes’ sparkling life, we have a fine custom in sports. We have earned a status for success in intercollegiate competitions and tournaments, sometimes teaming up with other colleges. We provide indoor and outdoor sports facilities including athletics, badminton, football, volleyball, table tennis, basketball, cricket etc. Students participate in Sports with great enthusiasm. Our Campus has a gymnasium with most modern equipment so that students can work out in the morning & evening to gain freshness. We organize Sports events on yearly basis for the students in the campus. Students participate in all the events with full enthusiasm. Institute sponsors Trophies, Shields and Cups apart from sponsoring prizes for Winners to encourage various games & sports.

BANKING & ATM FACILITIES

The Institute has a tie up with Nationalized Banks. This allows the opening and operation of accounts for every student through cheque book or debit cards. The bank is operating its own ATM machine and with an extension counter at the campus. The Bank of Baroda has a fully fledged bank with core banking network, ATM and internet banking facility within the campus is within the campus of Goel Group of Institutions. It offers all type of banking services to the staffs and students. Moreover we have two ATMs of Tata (Intex) & Bank of Baroda at our main Entrance gate.

WORKSHOP & ADDITIONAL WORKSHOP

The Mechanical workshop is the most common lab for second-year mechanical engineering students who also use this lab for their practical work. This lab is also used widely during inter-disciplinary projects undertaking by any engineering faculty. Hence this lab has become indispensable for students as well as faculties.

Workshop faculty, supervisors and technicians are well trained, experienced and committed to delivering knowledge to the students through hands-on practice on various machines/facilities provided in the workshop. Individualized attention is put on all the students who come to the workshop. Safety gadgets have been made compulsory to be used by the students while they are in the workshop for their hands-on practice. Mechanical Workshop is broadly divided into six shops – Carpentry, Sheet Metal, Fitting, Welding, Soldering and Machine Shop.

The Workshop is equipped with state-of-the-art like Lathe Machines, Arc Welding Machines, MIG Welding Machine, Spot Welding Machine and Soldering Workstation, Hand Shearing Machines, Power Hacksaw, Pedestal Grinder, Drill Machine etc.

Hostel Cafeteria

A modern kitchen with separate dining halls for staff and students spread in an area of 3900 sq. M. wholesome and hygienic food is provided at a nominal cost. R.O water for drinking & cooking and treated filtered water for all other purposes.

The canteen menu offers many delicious items. The canteen has an indoor seating facility and is a quiet and comfortable space for students to study and socialize. Life on campus helps students not only to study but also socialize with peers. Friendships formed on the campus last a lifetime. GITM provides comfortable and safe housing to all. Those living on the campus are encouraged to use the playground and all indoor gaming facilities.

Open Air Cafe`

In addition to hostel messes, one open cafeteria is there within the campus. It is an open-air cafeteria next to the academic block. The menu includes North and South Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine at reasonable rates.
