“The Innovation Cell at Goel Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow, participated in the online event ‘Building the Pipeline of Quality Innovations and Startups in HEIs with Ecosystem Enablers by Creating and Managing YUKTI Innovation and IPR Repository (YIIR) “ on August 2nd , 2024 in hybrid mode. This event was organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE. The session was led by Mr. Abhishek Ranjan Kumar, Zone Incharge, Ministry of Education Innovation Cell. More than 105 students with faculty members understood the YUKTI Innovation and IP Repository, a platform designed to aggregate and manage innovations and intellectual properties (IPs) at the institutional level.
The event detailed the repository’s purpose, which includes aggregating ideas, managing intellectual properties, and fostering support through mentoring and ecosystem collaboration. The sessions addressed key challenges, such as benchmarking and resource utilization, and provided practical insights into utilizing the YUKTI portal for effective management of innovations. The event demonstrated how YUKTI supports the entire innovation lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization, reinforcing its importance in building a dynamic and supportive innovation ecosystem in HEIs.
