The Orientation of the Academic Year 2024-25 for the newly admitted Civil students organized by Department of Civil Engineering on 27/09/2024 at the Mini Audi 1, GITM campus. Students were welcomed by Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, HoD , Department of Civil Engineering.
The programme then progressed through the motivational words of Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, HoD , Department of Civil Engineering.
Ms. Shikha Singh , Co ordinator Civil Second year, delivered the Inaugural Address. In her address he motivated all students and asked them to pursue their dreams and use the enormous facilities provided by the College in the field of academics and sports.
It was then taken over by the Mr. Shubhendu Mishra, Assistant Professor and Innovation Ambassador, IIC GITM, who gave an motivation to all students and asked them to create Jobs and become Job giver not Job seeker.
Different activities performed during this programme in which students gave active participation.
Lastly Mr. O.P. Pal, Assistant Professor and Convenor Sports committee, GITM took the students about the importance of Sports and passion and how one can combine it and use it to achieve respective goals and not to quit in between in the journey. He discussed perseverance and how one should remain dedicated towards goals till one reaches his/her final destination.
