Workshop Highlights | AI & IoT at GITM, Lucknow
The Innovation Cell, Goel Institute of Technology and Management (GITM), Lucknow successfully organized a 3-day offline workshop on “Artificial Intelligence with Internet of Things: Transforming Ideas into Implementation” from 27–29 January 2026, under the theme “AI for Atmanirbhar Bharat: HEI Pre-Summit Engagements towards IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026.”
Led by Mr. Shivam Dixit (Transcompe Educare Pvt. Ltd.), the workshop provided extensive hands-on training in IoT system design, smart automation using Arduino & ESP8266, and secure IoT cloud deployment. The program witnessed active participation from more than 45 faculty members and students from GITM and other institutions, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment.
The objective of the workshop was to enhance practical understanding of AI-integrated IoT systems by guiding participants from idea conceptualization to real-world implementation. It aimed to develop competencies in smart automation, embedded systems, and secure cloud integration, while nurturing an innovation-driven mindset aligned with Industry 4.0 and the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The outcomes of the workshop included strengthened AIoT skills, improved problem-solving and industry readiness, and increased confidence in developing scalable and secure AIoT solutions. The program also contributed significantly to capacity building of faculty and administrators, encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration, and promoted inclusive participation, including women in STEM, thereby reinforcing a sustainable innovation ecosystem at the institute. Overall, the event aligned strongly with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and IndiaAI.
