Hostel & Mess (Boys) Committee
Roles and Responsibilities:
(i) Acts as a bridge between the administration, caterers, hostel authorities on one side and the students on the other.
(ii) Facilitates the grievance redressal of students and communicates the same to the concerned authorities.
(iii) Keeps a check on the daily issues regarding the hostel infrastructure, the housekeeping issues, mess facilities, etc.
(iv) Ensures an enriching stay at the campus.
(v) Organizes fun-packed events and food-carnivals.
(vi) Coordinates with other clubs and committees for the successful conduct of various events.
Frequency of the meetings:
The Anti-ragging squad schedules a meeting twice a semester. Again as per the requirement, the squad holds meetings to resolve the cases of indiscipline and ragging (if any).
Attendance in the meeting
Around 80 to 90 Percent of committee members are always present in the meeting
