The Department of Civil Engineering, Goel Institute of Technology & Management, in association with NEEV – The Official Club of Civil Engineering Department, successfully organized the Orientation Programme 2026 for the newly admitted B.Tech Civil Engineering students on 31st July 2026.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the freshers, introducing them to the institute’s academic culture, values, facilities, and the exciting opportunities that await them throughout their engineering journey. The event aimed to inspire students to begin their new chapter with confidence, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence.

We were privileged to have Er. Sanjeev Yadav, Assistant Engineer, Housing & Urban Planning Department, Ayodhya Development Authority, as the Guest of Honour. Through his inspiring journey of success in competitive examinations such as UPPSC AE, SSC JE, GATE, and RRB JE, he motivated students to remain focused, disciplined, and dedicated towards achieving their career goals. His practical insights into the engineering profession and government sector opportunities were highly appreciated by all.

The session also provided students with valuable information about academics, departmental activities, technical clubs, innovation opportunities, internships, placements, and career pathways in Civil Engineering. The interactive discussions and enthusiastic participation of students made the event engaging and memorable.

The Department extends its heartfelt gratitude to the respected management, faculty members, organizing committee, NEEV Club, and all participants for making the Orientation Programme a grand success.
